Sue Prickett is an award-winning producer of jams, preserves and chutneys who keeps her feet firmly on the ground. Since winning North West Producer of the Year and a Silver Medal in the UK Great Taste Awards for her blackcurrant jam, Sue has continued in much the same way as she’s ever done – producing remarkable jams, preserves and chutneys (from local ingredients wherever possible) in batches of as little as 11 jars at a time! When she’s not making wonderful produce in her farmhouse kitchen at Hutton Roof near Kirkby Lonsdale, she’s tending beef cattle and sheep on her family farm.
