Founded in Kendal more than 20 years ago by Peter and Fran Fryer, English Lakes Ice Cream uses local ingredients wherever possible including organic whole milk from South Lakes Organic Milk, real jersey or local double cream, rich butter and the finest quality fruits. The team decided to enter the Great Taste Awards for the first time in 2019 and ended up winning three awards! Its luxurious, indulgent, creamy and delicious - in fact everything a great ice cream should be!
