Cumbrian Salami Company
.The Cumbria Salami Company is an offshoot of Family Butcher Shaw Meats, based in Aspatria, North West Cumbria.
Aspatria, (named after "the place of St Patrick’s Ash Tree'), is a small town situated between Maryport and Wigton. There has been a settlement here for over 3000 years, and it lies on the route of a busy Roman road.
All of their handmade salamis are made using 100% hand trimmed pork from pigs that have been reared to the highest standards. The meat content is very high; between 80 and 85% and free from MSGs, artificial flavourings or colourings All are GLUTEN FREE. Local oak chippings are used in their in-house smoker to smoke every individual salami to perfection.
