Cumbrian Lamb

Cumbrian lamb is the most sought after in the country. Top London restaurants can't get enough of it, and the legendary Lakeland Herdwick lamb was the toast of the BBC's Great British Menu recently. Lakeland Herdwick has Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) status, which means that it can only be called "Lakeland Herdwick" if it has been born, raised and slaughtered in Cumbria.
Our LAKELAND HERDWICK HOGGETT (lamb that has reached at least a year old and has a fuller flavour) is raised on the lower slopes of the Coniston Fells at Yew Tree Farm, which we visit every week to collect our meat to order from the farm's own butchery.
