Cumbria’s brewing tradition owes much to the abundance of fast-flowing streams and springs in the area and goes back to the days when brewing was the preoccupation of monasteries and country houses.
Today the abundance of micro-breweries in Lakeland affords us great opportunities for beery adventures. We’ve chosen some of our favourites, we hope you enjoy them!
